A Husband-and-Wife Team

Animas City Electric is a partnership between Sam Bibo and Ben Hall. In September 2026 we celebrated our first year in business — thanks to the contractors who trusted our work ethic, the friends who became customers, and the Durango business community that supported us along the way.

We show up with respect for your time, explain what we find, and treat every home and business like it belongs to a neighbor — because it usually does.

Buying a Home? Ask About a Load Calculation

Buying a Home? Ask About a Load Calculation

It's not a guarantee that the house you're in — or the one you're looking at — can handle how you live in it. Separate from an electrical inspection, a load calculation shows the highest electrical demand your home, building or workshop might pull, and whether upgrading your service is worth it.

  • Plan for a shop, studio, hobby or home business
  • Know before you buy or build on
  • See where your system needs more support
